Formed in the early 90s in Berkeley, California, Rancid has been a formative influence in putting punk rock in the eye of mainstream culture. Although the original lineup of the band has shifted slightly over time the founding members Tim Armstrong and Matt Freemand have been creating music under rancid for over three decades now with no plans of stopping.
