Although this was the last date Rage Against the Machine shared with Wu-Tang Clan, the show is remembered more for what happened after the show. In the dressing room, four undisclosed members of Wu-Tang allegedly beat and robbed their promo man from Loud Records. Charges were pressed and the only reason given was that they were unhappy about a live radio show they did early that day. Wu-Tang Clan were coming off a hiatus and releasing their second LP “Wu-Tang Clan Forever.” The group went off the tour after the event for unrelated reasons but it marked some of the growing pains the act was experiencing at the time.
