Clifford Ball was a two-day music festival that featured only one band, Phish who performed seven sets over the two days. Named after Clifford Ball, the festival was meant to honor aviators and would be the first of 10 “Phish Phests” the band would organize. Nearly 80,000 people came to camp, chill and jam at the decommissioned Plattsburgh Air Force Base in New York. Fan arrived with little knowledge of what to expect but was greeted with carnivalesque experiences like street performers, airplane shows, art installations, outdoor movies and even a full orchestra.
