Ganesh is one of the most recognizable and worshipped Hindu deities in the world. Ganesh is thought to bring good luck and help remove life obstacles. Depicted with the head of an elephant, he is renowned for the removal of obstacles and being resourceful. Offerings for Ganesh are usually things like flowers, bananas, coins, but most importantly are sweets- traditional treats like modak and laddu, dumplings made of flour and fillings of coconut and jaggery. Ganesh is a god to call on in times before embarking on a journey, either physical, emotional, or intellectual.
Incense traditionally is burned during times of meditation, or to help cleanse and clear the air. Incense is used to remove any unwanted odor or energy from your space.
