Limp Bizkit - Significant Other (LP)

$34.99

"Significant Other" avoids the curse of the sophomore slump, through a dynamic experimental mix of metal and hip-hop. Nu-Metal/Rap Metal band Limp Bizkit released their second studio album in 1999, to fantastic commercial success, reaching the coveted #1 spot on US Billboard 200. "Significant Other" was the band's first time beginning to experiment with different guitars, using both a 7 string and a custom made 4 string. In 2021 "Significant Other" was named on "Metal Hammer"'s list of best 20 metal albums of 1999, joining such legendary company as Metallica and Korn.

Limp Bizkit is a Nu-metal band from Florida, founded in 1994. Experimental, angry, and controversial, the band has accrued a cult following over the years. They feud with other artists constantly, and we hesitate to give a full list, as it may become immediately outdated. A small sample includes Eminem, Slipknot, and Marilyn Manson.  The lineup has taken different formations over the years, but the core cast as of this writing is Fred Durst as lead vocalist, John Otto as drummer, Wes Borland on guitar, DJ Lethal rocking the turntable, and Sam Rivers on bass. The intention for Limp Bizkit was to stretch over and dabble in as many genres as they could manage. The band's primary genres are rock and metal, with a myriad of prefixes attached, such as nu, rap, hard, and alt.
