Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese animated series that was released as a sequel to the 1986 series Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball Z saw its debut in 2009 and has helped widely popularize anime into modern American pop culture. The series is broken up into different sagas, but along the way there are lots of space alien ultra-warriors and allies that are fighting evil to restore ultimate balance to the universe!
