Danzig is an American heavy metal band led by former Samhain and Misfits singer/frontman, Glenn Danzig. Formed in 1987, the group became a unique voice in the rock scene early on with their bluesy sound and doom-laden metal alongside Glenn Danzig's crooning vocals. The band experimented with industrial music for a while but later returned to heavy metal.
