It’s called a pendant, bro! Not a necklace. It’s a piece of loose jewelry designed to hang low around the neck with a gemstone or precious metal anchoring it down! I would accept the terms talisman, amulet or medallion. But necklace and locket? Those are clearly feminine. Have you ever seen Steven Tyler, Robert Downey Jr. or Joe Manganiello wear a necklace? No!
