Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop and rap groups of all time. They are the only group that has worked with Tupac, the Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and Big Pun while they were all still living. Their hit song "Tha Crossroads", which was written as a tribute to then-recently deceased Eazy-E, won a Grammy in 1997. Their 4th album "BTNHResurrection" reached platinum in one month, which was unheard of at the time. What most people don't know is when the group started in 1991 it was originally called "Band-Aid Boys", which turned into B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e. They recorded an album titled "Faces of Death" in hopes of securing a record deal. The group was given an audition over the phone, receiving an unfulfilled promise from rapper Eazy-E to call them back. Determined to get a response, they scrounged together the money for one-way bus tickets to LA. They took a three-day Greyhound and spent months on the city streets, putting in calls to find him. Nothing came of their search except the news that Eazy-E was on tour. B.O.N.E Enterpri$e finally met up with Easy-E and after an in-person audition, signed to his label. At this point, Eazy renamed them Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and the rest is history.
