It's the holiday season, and it would be nice if an array of thoughtfully selected, beautifully wrapped presents could appear under your tree without prompting or effort, as a pure manifestation of the holiday spirit.
But word on the street is that Santa lives in the hearts, minds, and clicking fingers of those who believe in the holiday spirit. With that in mind, what better time than now to shop online?
We're thrilled to announce that after more than five decades in business, Mushroom New Orleans is launching an e-commerce site. Now it's no longer necessary to leave your couch in order to take a trip to your favorite smoke shop and record store -- and the more you shop with us, the more you save.

We're so proud to show off our new bundle of joy. Since the pandemic started, we've followed the CDC's guidelines to give our New Orleans neighbors a safe in-store shopping experience: enforcing masking, offering curbside pickup, enforcing occupancy guidelines, and honoring social distancing.
Now, that safe shopping process is even more seamless. In addition to browsing our 4,500-square-foot shop, you can shop our wares online by category or do a sitewide search for that particular treasure you're hunting for. Incense, smokeware, records, hoodies, and much more ... all the finds you know and love at Mushroom New Orleans are available online. And we're adding new inventory to the site every day.
Also Offering Shop Online, Pick Up at Store
If you do shop online, it's easy to pick up your orders at the store. Browse through our inventory and select the items you want to purchase. The site will prompt you to enter verification details. Once you enter these details and select the "pick up in-store" option, you can check out. Swing by later with your confirmation and photo ID to pick up the package. Our smoke shop and record store staff of friendly elves will have it ready and waiting for you.
Announcing Our New Loyalty Program
To kick things off in a truly celebratory fashion, we've launched a loyalty program. Our Mushroom customer has been so loyal to us over the decades, and we're thrilled to show our appreciation back. For every dollar you spend at The Mushroom, you can get 10 points. These points are redeemable online, in-store, and with BOPIS, and they never expire. Right now, rewards include a Mushroom T-shirt, discounts on used records, and a free Volcano digital vaporizer, with many more to be added soon.
