London street artist Banksy created the original "Flower Bomber" in 2003 in Palestine and was meant to draw attention to different socio-political issues at the time. Since its premiere, Banksy has created work on multiple urban landscapes around London and has included accompanying hashtags and imagery depending on whatever cause he has focused on. Perhaps the most famous account with this piece was a framed copy on paper that Banksy had rigged to be shredded with the frame as it was being purchased at an auction.
