Anderson Paak wanted his cover art for his second album Malibu to reflect upon the music from the album. The collage contains many images and has subtle hints from the lyrics and meanings to the album. The goal was to have a piece of art that can be dissected with multiple layers and enjoyed for a long period of time, just like his music.
