The 1979 "Highway to Hell" world tour was one of the longest that AC/DC had done at the time. This was the last tour with their original lead singer Bon Scott who tragically died 4-weeks after it ended. The entirety of the tour lasted 5 months and was split into 3 legs. Their Long Beach Arena performance in California drew a crowd of just under 4,000 people and tickets only cost $7.50.
AC/DC is easily one of the most well-known and loved classic rock bands in the world. They have 15 albums, most of which went platinum in almost every country. They're known for their hit songs Highway to Hell, Back in Black, and Thunderstruck. A household name in the '70s, '80s, and beyond.
